About the AuthorPaula Marris was a primary school teacher in York for six years before becoming an independent drama consultant working in primary schools throughout the country. She specialises in developing pupils' writing through drama projects.
Paula is available to deliver INSET to staff or to work in schools with pupils. Work can be tailored to suit curriculum needs and workshops can last anything from an hour to a full week. Most of the workshops are practical drama sessions but writing workshops are also available.
Larger scale projects can be arranged for clusters of schools that wish to work together. These involve a morning or afternoon a week over a period of six weeks, culminating in a performance at a local theatre and the children's written work being published as a book.
